What is meditation?
Meditation is a technique used to focus the mind and achieve states of relaxation and calm.
There are different types of meditation, but most involve sitting comfortably and focusing on the breath or a specific thought or mantra.
There are many different positions that can be used for meditation, including the lotus position, the half lotus position, and the seiza position.
Benefits of meditating:
- Reduces stress and anxiety
- Improves sleep
- Increases concentration and focus
The most important thing is that you find a meditation technique that suits you and that you practice regularly to achieve the best results.

Meditations for your holistic health
What is meant by holistic health?
Holistic health is an approach to well-being that simultaneously addresses the physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual aspects of health. As a field of practice, holistic medicine draws from many disciplines, religions and cultures to heal people, communities and even the environment.
Holistic approaches include, but are not limited to: acupuncture, acupressure, chiropractors, biofeedback, massage therapy, naturopaths, therapeutic touch, manual therapy, meditation, yoga, guided imagery, Reiki and other energy therapies, and Ayurveda.
